“It was definitely my favorite season to be a part of.
The world just got more complicated and I really got to see how this place works and it just kind of became this little world of its own,” says David Fincher, who plays Mike Ehrmantraut on “The Leftover.”
“You don’t really understand the world that much until you have been here and you have experienced it.”
The Leftout’s second season, “The Beginning,” premiered in October.
That was followed by “A Place in the Sun,” a story of a small town in the Appalachian Mountains that was saved by a boy.
And the show returned in February 2020 for season three, which followed a family’s struggles to adapt to the new world.
“The thing I’ve learned in the past couple of years is that I love the show as a story and that I just want to see it get bigger,” says Finchers, who also plays John.
“I think there’s so much more that I want to do with it, so I’m looking forward to having a bigger role.”
In a press release, HBO said “The End” and “The Lost Boys” will debut in the fall of 2020.
The show will be available to stream on HBO GO beginning Oct. 31.
The series will also be available for streaming on the Hulu service.
