Microsoft has announced a new project to help track the spread of the virus and stop people from contracting the virus from overseas.
The project, called Project Supreme, is a collaborative effort between Microsoft and the Covid Control Alliance, which is the world’s largest association of scientists and clinicians working to protect people from infection.
The two groups have teamed up to develop the new tracking platform.
The first project, dubbed Covid Supreme, will be used to collect and analyze Covid data to improve public health efforts and detect outbreaks.
The second project, which will be developed in partnership with researchers at the University of Colorado and Stanford University, will provide data to help develop new tools for researchers, the company said.
Covid-20 is a novel strain of the coronavirus that has killed nearly 17,000 people in the United States and infected more than 11 million people worldwide.
